Celebrating 2 Years, and What I've Learned From Mom

July 4 brought Fun & Fireworks on the firm’s deck to celebrate 2 big birthdays 🎂 . Kohler Health Law finished its second trip around the sun💫. My mom’s seen a few more.

The gutsy birthday lady in this picture has taught me the value of:

✨ Grit. After beating childhood polio, no mountain has ever been too high. The harder the challenge, the more determined she becomes.

✨ Following your dreams. She wanted to be a nurse but college wasn’t an option. So after raising 3 kids she earned her RN at 48.

✨The power of positive thinking. My mom just had knee surgery (in her 90s). Kinda crazy. But this Fourth of July baby wants to keep her independence. So with eyes firmly fixed on the goal, she nicks away at the PT every day. And she’s nailing it!

As for Kohler Health Law? Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate. And thanks to the community of clients, friends and collaborators who have supported and helped me grow the firm so far.

There’s still so much to do. But I’m having a blast serving my #biopharma & #compliance clients and eager to start the firm’s next solar revolution. Onward!
